The
DAP plant has a capacity of 4,00,000 tpa and went
on stream in October 2000. It manufactures di -
ammonium phosphate and NPK complexes like 10:26:26,12:32:16
and 20:20:0. The phosphatic fertilisers are marketed
under the brand name Birla Balwan and are very popular
among the farmers in states of Gujarat, Maharashtra,
Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana. Products
are sold through private trade channels as well
as institutions like co-operatives and Agro Industry
Corp.
